Apparently the infra red (audio) signal/transmitter from the DVD player is the standard used in all (or most) infra red wireless headphone. You boleh check the freq.
The wireless infra red headphone is Philip brand. Each has its own volume control.
Pakai 2 or 3 AAA batteries each. Tak ingat.
The headphone meant to be used at home with the transmitter connected to your hifi.
In this case, I did not use the Philip supplied transmitter. Simpan kat rumah.
So the headphones can receive audio sound from the player directly. I got 3 headphone (for each kid).
Only thing is that infra red use line of sight. So yang kat belakang (last row) must be sitted so that the 2nd head rest tak block the signal.
If you buy other headphone brand or model, likely it will work. Just check freq.
One headphone cost about SGD39, I think that time. There are other more changgih model but mahal.
You knowlah, kalau drive few hours kat Malaysia, boring lah. Dengar movie tapi tak boleh tengok.
So I surah budak budak to use headphone and I turn on the hifi and adjust speaker to the front only.
