First time after nearly 7 months driving my Vectra B, I managed to clean the throttle body for my Vectra B not me laaa the mechanic do for me laaaa. The different with Zafira A throttle body that the Vectra system is different and have the idle valve. This is the old systems meanwhile Zafira using the new systems without the idle valve.
It quite difficult for me for to take out the throttle body for Vectra from what I saw, so many parts need to take out. Well just let the mechanic do laaaa....  using my handphone camera the picture quality not so good...so dirty huhhhh...  side view.....  so many hose....  we also can do it...but the charges to do this not so expensive....let the mechanic do...  the accelerator cable need to release....  the whole set....  the idle valve...inside the idle valve there is one needle that can move it up and down to control the engine idling and this is common problem for vectra B the idle valve failure due to the needle inside the valve not functioning.....  the end result....shining and cleaning like not new laaaa still old maaaa....everything is clear now so now better accelerate and better FC...... The labor charges not even RM50. |
